Frequently Asked Questions

What hours do you work?

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-5pm

It's my first appointment with you and I don't know which session is best for me. What do I do?

No worries at all! Review my New Guest Service Sessions & choose the one feels like would be best for your desired outcome. Once I receive your appointment request, you'll get a text from me with my Digital Consultation Form. Fill that out as best you can & I'll review it to make sure that you picked the best session. I'll reach out if we need to modify your session. If I need any more details, I'll reach out with further questions to help get clarity on which session would be best for you.

Should I wash my hair before my appointment?

If you are booked for the New Guest Trim, Treat & Tone or the Express, it's not necessary since I will be washing your hair at the beginning of your appointment.

If you have any other session booked, it is best to have relatively clean hair. I'd say one day dirty, max.
The layers of product, oil, dirt and dust that builds up in your hair between washes can affect the color’s ability to do it’s job correctly and efficiently. Also, make sure your hair is dry. Applying color or lightener to damp hair will affect the result. So let's avoid taking time out of your appointment for me to blowdry it before we start by making sure your hair is fully dried before you come in. On the day of your appointment, limit your products to leave in-treatments, serums/oil, and heat protectant. Avoid hairspray, dry shampoo, texture sprays and root color sprays.

My appointment is during my work hours, is it okay if I bring my laptop?

Of course! Feel free to bring work with you. We have lap desks available for you to use to make things more comfortable for you too.

Where should I park for my appointment?

We are located at 1977 Santa Barbara Ave #101 in San Luis Obispo. There’s parking in the lot behind the salon, across the street in the lot by the railroad museum or on High Street & surrounding neighborhood.
